What's the current vibe at the respective sites?

My buddies and me looking for a weekend getaway to play some football and craps. But we don't want to be in a dead zone, we want a little life.

Does AC have a decent vibe on the weekends or is it dead? How about the Borgata? Are restaurants open? Can you drink?

We went to Turning Stone in August and had a great time. Has anything changed since then? Are they busy in January?

Has there been any virus breakouts at either location? I'm thinking not because that would be all over the news if it happened

Thanks for any input

It's not about the money, more about the time.

Want to leave Friday night and return Sunday night

Did you stop at Rivers in Schenectady back in August? Small place but with all your winnings at Turning Stone, figured you needed more action.

Curious myself about AC, my buddy said it was dead and not a good vibe but he was at Golden Nugget and the old Revel place. How's Borgata if anyone knows?

My friend was in Philly a month or so ago she said it was crowded. Restaurants open and bars.

Might be headed there in a couple weeks. Keep me posted Willy if you go!

Borgata would be your best bet.................Weekends have a decent crowd ...still slow weekdays

Sports book /Race room and Poker is all open .......you can eat in the sports book limited /but decent menu ,and some restaurants open but times due vary ....need to check daily
also drinks available in the poker room.

Harrahs also has their poker room open , but much smaller scale and very little action..

Rivers was closed in August, would have went there otherwise.

Went there in August 2019 on our Saratoga trip. One night, one table, about 2 hours, won > 1K there too. Gave half back at the track, my numbers weren't coming in :)

But Turning Stone in August 2020 was even better

Philly all bars and Sugar House are closed until 1/20. Did some outside dining about a week ago in philly but was disappointed as it was dead not many people in the streets.
I prefer Ocean Casino in AC and frequent that place alot. I like the sports book and tbh they seem to be the cleanest amd freshes around. Tropicana and Resorts are now shit holes.
On another note when down in AC I tend not to leave the casino unless taking amd Uber from one to another because AC is such a shit hole now.
They are busy on the weekends and it can be tough getting on the tables due to Covid and the seating.
If you dine at the Ocean Casino try American Cut, Dolce, or Villiam and Saints. All great places that are open on the weekend.
Some of the restaurants I named are only open certain days. As far as bars go they are only open until 10 or 11 in the casino as far as I know due to Covid

Thanks for the input guys. If we do AC, it will probably be the Borgata and we won't leave the premises

I'll call Turning Stone to see if there were any policy changes since August before we go there if that's our choice
